Kupwara encounter: Arrested terrorist is Pakistani national, to be brought to Delhi
New Delhi, July 28: A terrorist who was captured alive by security forces in Kupwara has been identified as a Pakistani national, media reported.
According to reports, the arrested terrorist has been identified as Bahadur Ali, a resident of Lahore.
Bahadur Ali to be brought to Delhi by NIA for further investigation.
The arrest of the terrorist in Kupwara was termed as big success for security forces by Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju.
"Catching a terrorist alive is a big success as it brings in open the game plan of Pakistan. The arrest of terrorist in Kupwara is a big achievement of security forces,"said Rijiju.

Four militants were killed and another apprehended by security forces during an encounter in Naugam sector near the LoC in Kupwara district of Kashmir on July 26.
All the militants were foreign nationals, an army officer was quoted as saying.
