On Wednesday morning, Aam Aadmi Party members met Delhi LG and demanded that fresh elections be conducted in the state.
Kiran Bedi, a former IPS officer, played a prominent role in the anti-graft crusade India Against Corruption led by Anna Hazare. One of her team members, Arvind Kejriwal, later went on to float a new political party Aam Aadmi Party. Bedi, clearly not happy with the works and policies of Kejriwal and AAP, has been heaping praise on Narendra Modi in the past couple of months.
"I no more rule out entering Indian political service on capability basis. I am moving towards some flexibility in this," Bedi tweeted.
However, she refused to say whether she would be joining BJP. "Feel as if the country was orphaned past several years. It finally has a guardian who is caring and capable! We can now focus on creativity," she tweeted after election results were declared on May 16.
"All who were spreading lies and apprehensions about @narendramodi got punished! Indian Voter saw it all! It's a victory of good intentions!," she said in another tweet, allegedly taking a dig at AAP which was routed in the election.
On Monday, former AAP MLA Vinod Kumar Binny had called upon BJP, AAP and Congress to consider Kiran Bedi for the post of Delhi chief minister.
