Kiran Bedi turns 65, thanks parents on Twitter

New Delhi, June 9: India's first woman IPS officer Kiran Bedi turned 65 year old on Monday and celebrated her birthday.

Bedi posted on the microblogging website Twitter, "I celebrate my birthday as my mother's birthday. Because every time a woman gives birth to a child,she relives her life. As mom did! ThankuALL".

She also added, " Today,65 yrs ago my mom brought me into this world. I thank her &my Dady for all the love/care they gave me.Thanku my family & frds & (2M.1+".

Bedi, who was a prominent face of Anna Hazare- led anti corruption movemnet in 2011, has hinted that she may join politics.

She had made her support vocal for Narendra Modi saying that hewould be the best choice as the PM of India.

There were speculations that Bedi may be considered for BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate in the next assembly polls.

Even, a Facebook page has also been created that says "Kiran Bedi for Delhi CM".

Last month, Bedi had admitted that she would accept the offer for the top job.

"I have spent 35-40 years of my life in Delhi and (now) want to devote my remaining life for its welfare," Bedi had said.
