Kill 2 RSS workers in uniform: Rudresh's killers were told
The killers of Rudresh had planned on killing at least two RSS workers in uniform. The NIA which filed its chargesheet in the Rudresh murder case said that there were five persons involved in the murder. Rudresh, an RSS worker was murdered in October 2016 in broad daylight at Bengaluru, following which the NIA took over the probe.
The NIA says that investigations had established that all the five accused persons are members of the Popular Front of India and its affiliated political organisation, Social Democratic Party of India. None of them had any personal enmity with Rudresh.
Investigation has established that the killing was a clear act of terror with the intention to strike fear among a section of the people.
The NIA established that the accused persons had conspiracy meetings prior to the murder at the Aksa Masjid near the Chota Charminar, Bengaluru. It was decided that they would kill at least two RSS workers in uniform. Investigations revealed that the indoctrination of the members was done in order to make them believe that they were doing their act as part of fulfilling the objective of establishing Islam and Jihad by killing a Kaufir.
