The Delhi police have arrested a suspected Khalistan Commando Force terrorist, Gursewak Singh from near Rajokri area in south Delhi. The police have been on the lookout for Singh for several years now and he was nabbed on the basis of intelligence inputs.
The arrest is a crucial one in the backdrop of several intelligence inputs suggesting that the Khalistan groups are attempting to make a comeback in Punjab and Delhi.
Several members of the KCF have joined the Inter-Services Intelligence ranks in Pakistan. They have been sheltered for several years and also have been imparted training. The Delhi police will now coordinate with their counterparts in Punjab before proceeding with further investigations.
