Humanity still exists:

It was not an easy task for Vijayan and Mohana to go to their final holiday destination. Their wish to visit US seemed improbable considering their financial status.

Two campaigns, which were held following media reports, helped the couple to gather money. One travel agency too helped the couple. The agency provided them a discounted trip.

After coming back from their US trip, Vijayan was quoted as saying, "We loved New York and Los Angeles. There are so many memories from our trip, but my wife enjoyed at Universal studios the most. We thank everyone who helped us."
