Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 18: Days after Kerala Assembly mayhem, Jameela Prakasam MLA on Tuesday presented photographs of alleged harassment by UDF MLA Sivadasan Nair.

"The Kerala Assembly then was not the sanctum sanctorum of democracy but a wax house where women's dignity was charred, said Jameela,  winding up her presentation at Cantonment house on Tuesday.

The woman legislator turned into a national headline when she was seen on camera biting a Congress Sivadasan Nair while the annual budget for the state was being shared by Finance Minister K M Mani.

Prakasham said that Nair had attacked her from behind using his right hand and right knee.

"He (Sivadasan) attacked me. First he hit me with his hand and then with his leg. You can see where his legs are in the photographs. He didn't leave my hand even after that and a watch and ward member had to intervene to rescue me. It was at this instance that a combined attack was unleashed against us." she said.

Five opposition MLAs were suspended till the end of assembly session for allegedly vandalising Kerala speaker's dais during the mayhem.

Sources close to Prakasam said that she would approach police with a sexual harassment complaint if the speaker refuse to take action.

Prakasam said that she is waiting for speaker's response on the issue.
