Kejriwal, Modi quite similar: Digvijay Singh
New Delhi, Mar 31: Taking a dig at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over its current turmoil, senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Tuesday said that its Convener Arvind Kejriwal's has dictatorial tendencies, adding that both Kejriwal and Narendra Modi are quite similar.
"Yogendra Yadav - "A Stalinist Purge". How true ! Didn't I predict Kejriwal has dictatorial tendencies ? He and Modi are both quite similar," Digvijay tweeted.
He was reacting to the expulsion of AAP founding members Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan from the party's national executive after a war of words between Arvind Kejriwal, adding that only Kejriwal's writ runs in the outfit, which has shown the doors to "moderate and secular" leaders. A strong critique of Arvind Kejriwals style of functioning, Singh during Delhi election had said that AAP party was a bunch of pseudo civil society activists.
Both Kejriwal and Narendra Modi were "big megalomaniacs with a strong dictatorial streak. I am saying this as I know that both of them like to listen only to their voices and do not pay heed to anyone else," Digvijaya had said.
