Kejriwal-Jung tussle: Delhi CM hits out at MHA's notification, calls LG 'a puppet of Modi Govt'
New Delhi, May 22: Hitting out at the Narendra Modi government at Centre for Home Ministry's notification that asserted the Lt Governor's power in public order and services issues, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday called Najeeb Jung as Centre's puppet.
"Najeeb Jung is a puppet who's strings are being pulled by Modi Government and PMO," Kejriwal told reporters in a media conference here.
Calling Home Ministry's notification a farce, Kejriwal also accused the Narendra Modi Government of stabbing the people of Delhi and they are trying to save corrupt people with the help of this notification.

Earlier in the day, Kejriwal took to Twitter to protest against the Home Ministry's notification calling it BJP's nervousness.
"The BJP first lost Delhi elections. Today's notification shows BJP's nervousness about our anti-corruption efforts. The BJP again lost today," Kejriwal tweeted.
The notification was issued on Thursday, but it came to light on Friday. It said: "Article 239AA inserted by the constitution (sixty ninth amendment act 1991) provides that the UT of Delhi shall be called NCT of Delhi and the administrator thereof shall be designated as Lt. Governor."
Reacting to notification, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia called the transfer and posting of the officers an "industry".
