Delhi: Congress party president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra on Thursday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his 'Vadra will eat him alive' remark. In a Facebook post, Vadra took on Kejriwal for inciting people against him.
"Robert Vadra seems to be the most preferred name in the dictionary of Delhi CM, his remark on 'Vadra will eat him' depict a strange obsession for me," said Vadra.
"I would humbly request our Delhi CM, to come & speak with me directly for all his grudges he has against me, instead of inciting other people, against me. My best wishes to our Delhi CM, in all his endeavours," said Vadra on his Facebook page.
Vadra's remarks came a day after Kejriwal, during his vote of thanks to lieutenant governor of Delhi address, blamed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly targetting Aam Admi Party minister Satyendar Jain.
"He can only arrest Jain, not Dikshit, If the PM raises a finger against Robert Vadra, I"ll be convinced that he has a 56-inch chest. Vadra will eat him alive....He (Modi) is taking revenge on Delhi people for choosing us and he has been blocking our work....but we have done so much despite the hindrance," Kejriwal said in Delhi assembly on Tuesday.
