New Delhi, April 1: A day after former AAP MLA Rajesh Garg levelled serious charges against Arvind Kejriwal and his party leaders, another former legislator on Wednesday alleged that Kejriwal kept him in confinement for one day in 2013.
Former AAP MLA Harish Khanna said that the incident occurred in 2013 at the time when Kejriwal was scrambling to get the numbers to form government in Delhi, ABP News report.
He said that on September 8, 2013, Kejriwal had called all party MLAs to his house and issued a whip saying that no MLA would leave his place until the party propose their case to form government in Delhi.
Earlier on Tuesday, another former MLA Rajesh Garg had alleged that he along with some of the party MLAs got fake calls from AAP leadership to support BJP.
The leader has said that they(MLAs) were offered 10 crore of money in exchange of their support to Saffron party when Delhi was under President rule. Former party leader Garg further accused that the fake calls which had got Arvind Kejriwal's consent, were made on the name of BJP's leaders Arun Jaitley and Nitin Gadkari.
"During the initial phase of government formation I got calls from someone who claimed to be calling from Arun Jaitley's office offering Rs 10 crore to support BJP. "I took a screen shot of the number and lodged a police complaint who arrested a person. Then I got a call from Sanjay Singh asking me to withdraw the complaint. I didn't withdraw but they managed to get him released," he alleged.
