Karnataka: 8 killed, several seriously injured in a road accident
According to reports, eight people were killed in a road accident in Yadgir, Karnataka, on Monday evening.
Bengaluru, Feb 21: In a tragic road accident, at least eight people were reportedly killed and several others were seriously injured in Yadgir, Karnataka, on Monday evening. The accident happened after a tempo carrying several passengers had a deadly collision with a cement tanker.
"Eight dead and nine injured after collision between a tempo and a truck in Yadgir, Karnataka," reported ANI.

Among the deceased, three were children. The accident occurred near Ramasamudra village in Yadgir taluk, say reports. "They were all returning from Shahpur to Ganapur village in Yadgir after attending an engagement function at Bhimarayanagudi in Shahpur taluk," a police official told reporters.
In another accident in Belagavi, three members of a family were killed when a truck hit their car by which they were going to Goa, on Dharwad-Ramnagar road, near Astoli village of Khanapur taluk, on Sunday night.
