Kanhaiya Kumar likely to arrive at JNU campus today evening

New Delhi, Mar 3: As the news of the Delhi High Court granting 6 months interim bail to JNU Students Union President Kanhaiya in the sedition case hit the campus, the students in the campus have moved into the mood of fervour.

On their toes, anticipating the arrival of their favourite union leader, the students of the JNU took out a victory march in campus from Sabarmati Dhaba to Administration block in the night hours of Wednesday, Mar 2.

However, the students today morning too carried out a protest rally "March to Parliament" demanding the release of other students arrested under the charges of sedition and to drop the charges. The missing element in the two rallies was JNU Students Union leader Kanhaiya Kumar.

According to a student from JNU the mood in the campus is up and all are eagerly waiting for Kanhaiya Kumar to step into the campus. At this juncture it is learnt that, if all goes well, Kumar will be arriving to the campus in the evening hours today.

While the two rallies did not had 'X-Factor', there will be a third rally which would see the missing element back. The JNUSU President, Kanhaiya Kumar will lead the third rally that has been tentatively scheduled at 9 PM in the campus.

V Arun Kumar student of the JNU speaking to OneIndia said Kanhaiya is likely to arrive to the campus in the evening hours. "I think he will be released at 5 AM in the evening. After release he will join the JNU family."

The students are readying to in full swing to receive Kumar. Three will be a rally once Kanhaiya back in the campus. Kanhaiya would lead the rally.
