Earlier Sahara Samay reported that Dutt would end her association with NDTV and would join their one of the biggest competitors CNN-IBN.
The report was published on the same day when another well-known journalist and deputy editor of the channel confirmed her exit from the channel tweeting, "Goodbye CNN-IBN. God bless!".

Ghosh along with husband Rajdeep Sardesai had gone for an one month leave last month. Sardesai, who was the editor-in-chief of CNN-IBN, too had called it a quit.
Earlier it was reported that Ghosh would not return to the channel, which is a part of the Network18 group, now owned by Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries and might join Headlines Today, owned by TV Today Network.
