Jolt to Jindals, FIR against Naveen in coalgate case as mother loses Hisar seat

New Delhi, Oct 19: It seems Sunday brought in bad news for the Jindal family. At a time when his mother Savitri Jindal lost the Hisar seat, the CBI registered a fresh case against Jindal Steel and Power Ltd owned by Naveen Jinal in coal allocation scam.

According to reports, Savitri Jindal, considered as India's richest woman, lost her home consituency Hisar where BJP candidate Kamal Gupta won by 13, 464 votes. Jindal who, according to Wikipedia, is among the world's 56th richest person has property worth $14.4 billion.

This come has a big shock to the Congress as Hisar is traditionally Jindal's stronghold.

In another major development, the CBI registered another FIR against Naveen Jindal in coalgate case. Naveen Jindal in MP from Kurukeshtra constituency of Haryana.The FIR has been registered for the allocation of Gare Palma IV/1 coal block to Jindal Strips Ltd and Jindal Steel and Power Ltd and unknown public servants.

Meanwhile, the agency is conducting searches at four places at Raigarh in Chhattisgarh.
