Jodhpur court to hear Asaram's special demands
Asaram, who was arrested from his ashram in Indore about three weeks back, had demanded for special priviledges during his stay in the jail. Some of his demands were- a female physician to be allowed to keep a tab on his health, home-cooked food to be allowed, a special bed and more.
He had even created a huge ruckus as he refused to have water without a drop from his bottle carrying gangajal.
Asaram's lawyer had then made a request to the court pleading to fulfil his demands, keeping in mind his health and old age.
The self-styled godman had also asked for herbs, gangajal, and books be allowed inside the jail.
So far the jail authorities say that he is being treated like any other prisoner lodged in the jail and has not been given any special priviledges.
