Agra, Dec 8: Many people in India struggle to get a single genuine passport but this youth from Bihar possesses 160 passports, but all are fake!

According to media reports, Vikas Kumar, a native of Gopalganj district from Bihar and a first-year-undergraduate student of BBA at a private college in Agra, possessed fake passports, most of them were of Arab origins, mainly from Iraq and Dubai.

When his PG accommodation landlord grew suspicious over his activities, then he alerted the cops. Police then arrested him on Monday, Dec 7.

Due to his suspicious behaviour, he was reportedly thrown out of his college hostel, after which he started living in a PG at on Chatta Goverdhan Road.

His landlord alleged that Vikas used to change the lock of his room every alternate day and he also kept to himself, without having interaction with anyone.

After receiving his landlord's complaint, the police conducted a raid at his room, where at least 160 fake passports were procured.

Some job certificates, interim visa applications, a laptop, mobile phones and sim cards were also seized, TOI report said.

According to police officials, who are investigating the case said Vikas was earlier placed with a travel agency.

Police also believes that he may be apart of fake job racket and he makes money from both job aspirants and companies.

He has been booked under sections 420, 467, 468, 469, 471 of the IPC and section 12 of the Passport Act. Meanwhile, police has also alerted Intelligence Bureau in connection with this case.
