JNU row: #ProtectJNU trends on Twitter as student groups protest at Mandi House
New Delhi, Mar 2: After forensic probe ordered by the Delhi government on a set of video clippings in the controversial JNU event revealed that two videos were "manipulated", student groups have gathered at Delhi's Mandi House to show their support for Rohith Vemula and JNU row.
The probe has found that out of seven videos sent by the Delhi government to the Hyderabad-based Truth Labs, two have been tampered with while the rest were authentic.
This news has sparred debate over micro-blogging site Twitter where people are coming in support of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, which is facing criticism for the promoting anti-national and illicit activities.
There is a section of people on the social media which is calling for protecting JNU from the hands of anti-nationals while there is another section which is targetting the Modi government for tarnishing the image of the varsity.
