Srinagar, Dec 10: Making all the speculations to rest, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) state vice president and member election campaigning committee Advocate Vibodh Gupta on Wednesday, Dec 10 announced that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally in Rajouri city on 13th December, 2014 at New Bus Stand near Salani Bridge, Rajouri.
Terming it to be a mega event in the history of Rajouri district in general and the Rajouri city in particular, Vibodh said that after former PM HD Deve Gowda, Sh. Narendra Modi is the only PM who is addressing an election rally in Rajouri after nearly two decades. [News updates from Jammu and Kashmir]
He also appealed the people of all the four constituencies of the district irrespective of any cast, creed, colour and religion to attend the rally to make it a mega even.
Addressing to the media persons, he said, "It's an honour for us that such a big leader is coming to Rajouri which clearly shows the attention and priorities of the BJP government in Centre towards Jammu and Kashmir State and the State will witness a tremendous development under Modi rule."
He further informed that the PM will addressed the gathering at 1 P.M and all the BJP workers and supporters are feeling jubilant and contributing their best to make this event a success.
With the rally of Narendra Modi, the BJP will be strengthen in big way over all the four constituencies of the district which include Rajouri, Kalakote, Nowshera and Darhal, Vibodh said and added that the BJP unit will leave no stone unturned and make proper arrangements so that the people in large number would reach the venue on time and listen to the PM.
He also appealed to the media persons to give a wide coverage of the event to every nook and corner of the State.
