Hurry! Fly on weekends and get discounts: Jet Airways announces 'Weekend Surprises' to woo flyers
New Delhi, July 25: This is yet another golden opportunity to avail cheap air travelling. In an attempt to woo fliers and promote its brand, Jet Airways on Friday announced discounted ticket scheme.

The offer named as 'Weekend surprises' will give customers an opportunity to avail special fares scheme every week-end to its domestic and international travellers.

fore
days
after
the
airlines
slashed
its
business
class
fares
by
upto
50
per
cent.
Announcing
this
new
offer,
airline
in
its
official
release
said
that
the
new
scheme,
which
could
be
availed
of
through
the
airline's
website
and
mobile
app,
would
be
available
every
weekend
starting
July
25-26,
the
statement
said.
"We are delighted to introduce the Weekend Surprises initiative. Weekend is an ideal time for our guests to explore exciting travel opportunities that they can be avail of in the days ahead," Chief commercial officer, Jet Airways, Raj Sivakumar said.
The weekend special fares scheme would provide travellers with exciting offers across the airline's domestic and international route network.
On the weekend of July 25-26, the fliers can avail a flat 15 per cent discount on base fare and fuel surcharge across flights operated by Jet Airways on its 51 domestic and 22 international destinations, it said.
Besides, the discount, customers would also enjoy exclusive benefits like earning 500 Bonus JPMiles (the reward points for its loyalty club JetPrivilege members) per flight and 'zero penalty fee' when they change or cancel their ticket within 24 hours of booking, the airline added.
Jet Airways had on Sunday last slashed its business class fares on its domestic network by more than 50 per cent (for travel less than 1,000 kms) to fill seats during the lean season.
Under this offer, the airline while reduced its premier class ticket prices by a flat 20 per cent for long-distance travel (above 1,000-km) on its domestic network, it offered lower fares, starting at an all-inclusive Rs 6,999 for travel up to 1,000km.
