Jayalaltithaa health: Shah, Jaitley to visit Chennai today
New Delhi, Oct 11: Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley and BJP's National President Amit Shah will visit Tamil Nadu chief minister, J Jayalalithaa in hospital tomorow. Shah and Jaitley will reach Chennai at around 3 PM and will visit Apollo hospital at 5 PM.
Jayalalithaa has been admitted to the Apollo hospital in Chennai. A bulletin on Monday said that she continues to undergo treatment and is being constantly monitored by intensivists and other consultants in the expert panel.
Necessary respiratory support, antibiotics, nutrition, supportive therapy and passive physiotherapy are given the statement also read.
Since the Tamil Nadu chief minister has been admitted to hospital, several leaders have visited her. All those who visited her including Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi have said that she is being provided the best of treatment and will be well soon.

The opposition in Tamil Nadu on the other hand have been demanding that an interim chief minister be appointed.
The demand comes in the backdrop of reports suggesting that the administration in Tamil Nadu is being run by Jayalalithaa's advisor, Sheela Balakrishnan and the Chief Secretary.
The AIADMK has rejected demands for an interim CM and say that there is no such constitutional provision. They also say that she will be well and back to work very soon.
