7:45 pm: ‎A team of the National Investigating Agency met with Bengaluru police commissioner, M N Reddi in connection with the Churchstreet blasts. A team of the NIA comprising a DIG from Mumbai and SP from Hyderabad met with the commissioner today.

The NIA, which took over the probe into the Churchstreet blast had filed an FIR two days back. The meeting with the commissioner was a routine one. The NIA team sought assistance in form of investigating papers and forensic material collected by the Bengaluru police which had initially probed the case.

The blast occurred on the busy Churchstreet in December 2014 and claimed the life of one woman.
