Shocking Revelation: Just 1 letter to PM Modi to bring more trouble for jailed Jayalalithaa
Jayalalithaa's arch rival -- Subramanian Swamy, who played a key role in sending her to jail, is all set to dig out old cases against the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.
The BJP leader, during one of his interviews with a media channel, asserted thathe ‘would not have bothered her, but she wrote to the prime minister about the fisherman', which made him retaliate.
Swamy was quoted as saying, "I got the fisherman released and not the boats because the boats belong to the rich, so she wrote again to the prime minister saying the sentiments of the fishermen were hurt - seems to be habituated to writing letters."
Swamy recalled the fuss between Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu government over fishermen and their boat capsize issue. Jayalalithaa once had written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi complaining about Swamy.
The AIADMK chief had written that she was distressed with Subramanian Swamy's interview to a media organisation in which he said he had advised Sri Lankan government to release Tamil fishermen and not their boats.
Irked by Jayalalithaa's letter, Swamy now chided that he would haunt the AIADMK chief with old cases against her. He also called Jayalalithaa a "sadist." Swamy would dig out defamation case filed by Jayalalithaa against him.
