"Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa asks and demands what she wants. She can't wait to go home and take back the reins", said Pratap Reddy, Chairman of Apollo hospital on Friday. Talking to media persons in Chennai on Friday he added that she was aware of what is happening around her and was recovering well.
This news comes as respite to party cadre who have been waiting for an official word from the hospital on Jayalalithaa's health. Pratap Reddy in his statement attributed improvement in Jayalalitha's health to the team of doctors as well as those supporters who have prayed for her well-being.
On her current situation Reddy said "Going back home is now only a matter of time", which has come as great news for supporters of the AIADMK supremo.
OneIndia had earlier reported about AIADMK supremo being taken off respiratory support and that she was writing her own menu. The hospital authority's latest statement has come as a relief to the party that is gearing up for the November 19 bypolls.
