J-K: Terrorists attack police vehicle in Shopian, no casualities reported
Last week, an encounter had taken place between the security forces and the terrorists at Pulwama.
Terrorists on Thursday attacked a police vehicle in Behbagh area of Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district, said reports.
There are no reports of any casualities so far.
On March 17, a brief encounter took place between the security forces and the terrorists at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir following which the latter fled. The encounter broke out after terrorists opened fire at the security forces.
Hizbul Mujahideen operatives were suspected to behind March 17 attack.
On March 15, three terrorists were killed in an encounter at Kupwara while one police personnel was injured. The incident took place in the Kalroos area of Kupwara. The presence of the terrorists came to light when the security forces were conducting a house to house search. The militants were believed to be part of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba.
