J&K: Mob tries to rough up MP, torches vehicle in Kashmir
Srinagar, July 11: A mob on Saturday tried to rough up a Rajya Sabha member of the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district, and torched a vehicle belonging to his supporters, police said.
A police source said Nazir Ahmad Laway had gone to Bugam village to inspect a school, when the mob arrived.
The mob then pelted stones at the security forces and torched a vehicle belonging to one of the MP's supporters who had accompanied him.
