Lucknow, April 22: The country has been gripped by election fever and this time many are hoping that Narendra Modi will become the next prime minister of India. Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal are the other two prominent aspirants for the post. Leaving all behind, controversial politician Azam Khan explained why Mulayam Singh Yadav should become the next PM of the country.

As the vote counting day, i.e. May 16 is approaching fast, political leaders are boosting for their prime ministerial candidates. Following the trend, Khan said, "It would be unfortunate for India if Mulayam Singh does not become the Prime Minister. (Aaj ke din desh ka durbhagya hoga agar Mulayam Singh Yadav Wazir-e-Azam nahi banenge)."

During an election campaign in Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party leader has raised a pitch for the party chief as the next Prime Minister of the country.

'Neither BJP nor Congress would get majority in the Lok Sabha elections'

Mulayam, who has been holding rallies across Uttar Pradesh, recently reiterated that neither BJP nor Congress would get majority in the Lok Sabha elections and the Third Front, in which Samajwadi Party would be the largest party, would form government at the Centre.

Urging people to vote for Samajwadi Party, Mulayam Singh added that only his party could prevent BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi from becoming the Prime Minister.

The SP supremo also tried to woo Muslim voters saying that the condition of the community members was poor in the country and they would work to improve their situation.
