ISIS module behind Bhopal-Ujjain Passenger Train blast
The National Investigation Agency has filed its chargesheet in the Bhopal-Ujjain Passenger Train conspiracy case. Atif Muzaffar, Mohd. Danish, Syed Mir Hussain and Ghaus Mohd Khan have been named in the chargesheet.
Investigation conducted by the NIA disclosed thatAtif Muzzaffar had formed a terrorist gang with the other accused. The group owed allegiance to the Islamic State. The group tried to move to Syria, but failed to do so.
These persons then entered into a criminal conspiracy and shifted their location to Lucknow.
They collected arms and fabricated IEDs at this hideout. They conducted trial blasts and also killed a teacher at Kanpur in November 2016 using the arms they had purchased.
One such IED was fabricated at their hideout at Lucknow and carried from Lucknow to Bhopal. After getting down at Bhopal, the accused planted the bomb on the train. In the blast a few persons were injured.
