In two decades, Bhopal received maximum rainfall in 2013
Weather officials said that a lot of rain was received in 2011 when the state got 1,143.5 mm of rains. They said that signs of a good monsoon were visible in June this year and it struck much before its expected time.
According to weather officials, the normal rainfall for Madhya Pradesh is 990 mm, but this was surpassed by about 200 mm this time.
