Infiltration bid foiled: Indian Army guns down 3 terrorists
On June 10, one terrorists was killed at the same area. Troops guarding the Line of Control spotted terrorists trying to sneak in.
An infiltration bid was foiled and three terrorists were killed by the Indian Army. The incident took place at the Gurez sector in Kashmir. The Army said that search operations are still on.
There has been a spike in the number of infiltration bids at the sector. This is the second such incident that has been reported in the area since June. The Army relied on the intelligence inputs which suggested that an infiltration bid was being made by terrorists from Pakistan.

Investigations
into
this
regard
are
still
on
by
the
security
forces.

along

A defence spokesman said multiple attempts made by Pakistan army to push armed infiltrators across the Line of Control were foiled by the troops at Machhil and Naugam sectors in Kupwara district, Gurez in Bandipora district and Uri in Baramulla.
