Mumbai, Nov 30: As the news about Sheena Bora murder case started surfacing in the media, definition of the mother-daughter relation has been changed for many. Now, once again people are shocked to read media reports which stated that Indrani Mukerjea had partied just a day after killing Sheena.
Indrani along with her former husband Sanjeev Khanna was seen partying at Calcutta Cricket & Football Club (CC&FC) on April 25, 2012. Sheena allegedly was killed on April 24, 2012.
60-year-old Mangalesh Jalan, a close friend of Sanjeev Khanna, wrote a letter to CBI. Jalan, in the letter, wrote, "On the night of April 25, 2012, I saw Sanjeev and Indrani at CC&FC. He was taking Old Monk rum. Indrani was also taking beer or something like that."
Earlier it was reported that Indrani allegedly killed Sheena on April 24 and dumped her body in a jungle in Raigadh near Mumbai a day after. On the same day, she had gone to Kolkata and on April 27 Indrani had gone back to Mumbai to receive her husband Peter Mukerjea. Both Indrani and Peter reportedly had gone to Goa to enjoy their vacation.
Recently, another witness, a gymnasium instructor, has told the CBI that he had seen Indrani, Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai at a forested patch in the neighbouring Raigad district, where Sheena Bora's remains were found earlier this year on April 25, 2012.
Sheena was Indrani's daughter from her first marriage with Siddharth Das. When she got married to former media baron Peter Mukerjea, she had introduced Sheena as her sister.
Later Sheena fell in love with Rahul, Peter's son from his previous marriage. Indrani was upset and allegedly killed Sheena.
