Indrani Mukerjea now faces charges for attempting Mikhail's murder

Mumbai, Aug 31: In a recent twist to the already complicated murder investigation of Sheena Bora, Indrani Mukerjea may be charged for attempting the murder of her son Mikhail. She is likely to be produced in court today, along with co-conspirator and ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai.

During interrogation, Indrani has confessed to a financial dispute between her and Sheena, but has not agreed to have killed her 24-year old daughter. Meanwhile, Indrani's first husband Siddhartha Das has been traced and is likely to be questioned by police in Assam's Silchar.

The murder mystery of 24-year old Sheena Bora is getting complicated by the day as Indrani's lineage and family history goes beyond comprehension. Police is having a hard time in tracing the family tree of the dead and the accused. Sheena was murderd on April 24 in 2012, allegedly by her mother Indrani Mukerjea and her second husband Sanjeev Khanna. She is said to have been strangulated, chopped to pieces and burnt.

The case came to light only last week when the driver of Indrani-Shyam Rai was caught in an illegal arms act.
