New Delhi, Aug 18: India will confront Pakistan with evidence that the three terrorists who carried out attacks in Gurdaspur and the militant who was caught in Udhampur had come from across the border during the forthcoming National Security Advisor-level talks.

Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and speedy trial in 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case are also some of the key issues to be raised by India at the NSA-level talks with Pakistan on August 23.

The Home Ministry is preparing a detailed dossier with evidence that the three terrorists who carried out attack in Punjab's Gurdaspur and Mohammad Naved Yakub, who was arrested in Udhampur in Jammu recently after an ambush on a BSF convoy, had come from Pakistan, official sources said on Monday.

NSA Ajit Doval is likely to ask his Pakistani counterpart Sartaj Aziz to hand over Dawood, a key accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, expeditious and comprehensive trial of 26/11 case to ensure that LeT founder Hafiz Saeed and outfit's operations commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi could be punished.

Sources said if Pakistan raises the issue of Samjhauta Express blast case, Doval will counter Aziz that the key accused Swami Assemananda continues to be in jail but Lakhvi and his accomplice are no longer in prison and roaming freely.

Cross-border firing, infiltration from across the border and presence of militants' camps in Pakistan will also be on the table.

Last week, Doval held a meeting with Home Secretary L C Goyal, Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar, Defence Secretary G Mohan Kumar and top security officials where they discussed the issues to be raised before his Pakistani counterpart.

The regular, unprovoked firing from across the border targeting BSF posts and civilian population in Jammu and Kashmir is also expected to figure in the talks.

Pakistan Prime Minister's Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will visit India on August 23 for NSA-level talks between the two countries.

The decision to hold talks was taken when Prime Ministers of the two countries met in Ufa, Russia last month on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit.
