New Delhi, Jan 22: At a time when incumbent Government is already under fire for not speaking openly against fringe elements for their loose canon approach, this news will further invite criticism from various quarters.
Reportedly, the Hindu Mahasabha has supported VHP's recent controversial move where Kareena Kapoor 's morphed image was used on the cover of a magazine.
Mahasabha in its mouthpiece 'Hindu Sabha Varta' has used the same picture purportedly for spreading awareness among Hindu communities for Ghar Wapsi campaign.
As per report in a Hindi daily Amar Ujala, the mouthpiece has also challenged three Khans-Aamir, Shahrukh and Saif saying that if they really love their wives then adopt the Hindu religion. Hindu group further said that it will arrange everything if Bollywood stars decide to do so.
Reportedly, editorial head of the mouthpiece Munna Kumar Sharma said that a conspiracy is being hatched against Hindu group through love jihad. He further said, many of the Hindu film actresses like Sharmila Tagore, Kareena Kapoor, Kiran Rao, Rina Dutt were forced to adopt Muslim religion and thereby their children also had to adopt the same.
It seems various Hindu groups and similar fringe elements are hellbent to jeopardize Modi Government's good governance agenda.
Prime Minister always reiterated this point that his government believes in inclusive politics which means no community will be discriminated at any point of time and has equal right to avail resources of the country. But this has been constantly challenged by party coteries through their statements and various actions. Like every second day, various right wing organisations come up with their new definition of ‘Hindutva'. Some express their opinion in muted tone while some in more assertive manner.
