What was the flak she took:
As per the deposition of various persons including journalists, the SIT found that Sunanda had constantly mentioned that she took the flak for her husband Shashi Tharoor.
She called up journalists and repeatedly told them she took the flak for her husband. However when she was asked by the journalists whether she wanted to have a press conference she never responded.
Police sources say that she was upset that she had to take the blame in the IPL case. She wanted to come out with the truth but was being pressurised not to do so.
