'I am in if Sasikala is out', Panneerselvam makes his conditions clear
Speaking up on the AIADMK Amma faction's offer of reconciliation, O Panneerselvam made his demands loud and clear. Addressing reporters in Chennai, Panneerselvam said that he was open to talks but there would be no going back on the demands placed before the committee that has been formed to hold talks.
"Judicial probe into J Jayalalithaa's death is our first demand. Sasikala's appointment as general secretary is illegal and we will not accept it. Family politics will not be accepted. TTV Dinakaran is only tarnishing the image of the party and it will not be tolerated," Panneerselvam said.
He added that the party should not be controlled by one family and it was nothing short of treason to allow Sasikala to control party affairs. Making his conditions clear, Panneerselvam said that they will continue to oppose Dinakaran and Sasikala. With this Panneerselvam has made it clear that talks will be successful only if the Mannargudi family is shown the door.
