Mumbai, Oct 6: At a time when the nation has been left paralysed with the incidents of communal flare-ups from Dadri, Greater Noida and other parts of the country, an interesting incident has come to the light, in which a Muslim woman gave birth to a baby boy inside a temple and she named him 'Ganesh'.
According to reports, Noor Jahan, who was pregnant with her second child, experienced labour pain around 4.30 am when she woken up her husband Ilyaz Shaikh, in Mumbai.
Ilyaz rushed his wife to get her admitted to Sion hospital in a taxi. But the driver got furious as Noor's pain intensified and he forced them to get out of the taxi.
Panicked Ilyaz made her wife to lay down at nearby Ganesha temple, as he searched for another taxi.
Some women who were in the temple noticed the serious condition of Noor and in a typical Bollywood style, they covered her with sheets to deliver her baby.
Amid the chaotic situation, a newborn baby boy's cries filled the atmosphere with cheer and happiness.
Elated Noor told a daily that she realised that the God himself is watching over her condition.
"What could be better than giving birth before Lord Ganpati? We are going to name the baby Ganesh", she said.
