Himachal continues to experience hot weather
Shimla, April 28: The hills of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday,April 28 continued to experience warm weather due to prevailing dry weather, with the state's Una town recording a high of 38.4 degrees Celsius, a Met official said here.
"Temperatures increased due to the ongoing dry spell. Shimla recorded a high of 25.4 degrees Celsius, 3.8 degrees above the average for this time of the year," an official of the meteorological office said.
Dharamsala, the headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile, recorded 30.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above average.
Kalpa in Kinnaur district recorded a maximum of 20.6 degrees Celsius, while it was 20 degrees in Manali.
The Met department said a western disturbance is likely to be active in the western Himalayas from May 2, bringing rain and thundershowers.
