Mumbai, Nov 30: He has been called an ISI agent, a Pakistani, a terrorist sympathiser and has been abused with many other names in last 10-15 days. Now, intolerance debate over Aamir Khan's statement reached to a new height.
A website has been launched to slap the Bollywood actor. The website -- slapaamir.com -- has been launched by a group of students of Miami Ad School.
Users of the website will be able to slap Aamir virtually. A hand pops out which allows users to slap an image of the actor. The face of the actor undergoes changes after every slap.
The students launched the site with a disclaimer which says, "Slapaamir.com is for humour and creative purposes only and does not represent any political views of the people involved. Please be tolerant of our humor."
Despite having the disclaimer, the students faced tremendous criticism across social media. However, many others logged on to the site to have fun.
Aamir Khan landed into the controversy when he said, "Kiran and I have lived all our lives in India. For the first time, she said, should we move out of India?"
"That's a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make to me. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers every day. That does indicate that there is a sense of growing disquiet," he added.
