Heavy rains in Gujarat: Four killed, 6000 evacuated to safe locations
As torrential rains claimed four lives, a total of 95 roads and two national highways in Kutch and Saurashtra were damaged, throwing life off gear in most parts of the state.

Heavy rains in Gujarat has led to floods in several parts of the state in which two persons were killed while more than 200 people stranded in floods were rescued by NDRF, Air Force and other agencies.

Met Dept issues warning:
Meanwhile, the meteorological department has issued warning of heavy rains for next 48 hours in the state. Districts like Valsad, Banaskantha, Tapi, Mehsana, and Ahmedabad recieved most of the rainfall. Umargam taluka in Valsad received 114 mm (4 inch) rainfall, the highest in the state.

Gujarat CM undertake aerial survey of flood-affected areas
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani conducted an aerial survey in parts of Surendranagar district to take stock of the situation, an official release said. He also held a meeting with officials and asked the administration to help people as heavy rains are expected till July 29.
