While addressing an election rally in Hisar on Tuesday, the BJP president Amit Shah targeted Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his Haryana No 1 campaign.

Targetting the Haryana Chief Minister, Shah said that Hooda has been dancing to the tune of the Congress high command.

As per an Indiatoday report Shah was quoted as saying, "Ye pehalwano ki bhoomi hai, is bhoomi ka mukhiya dilli ke darbar main mujra karta hai (This is the land of wrestlers. The chief of this land (Hooda) dances in Delhi Darbar (Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi)."

Calling the 'Haryana No 1' campaign as misleading, the BJP president said criticised Hooda and said, "The state has fallen behind in every field and has performed poorly on the issues of unemployment, atrocities on Dalits and women security."

The BJP president not only criticised the Hooda Goverment but also took a potshot at former chief minister Om Prakash Chautala for his statement on taking oath from Tihar Jail.

Attacking Chautala for the remark, Shah said, "I read Chautala's statement that he will take oath from Tihar jail. Do you want to choose a chief minister who will run his government from Tihar Jail?"

Shah promised a clean and transparent government to people and appealed to voters and said that people should bring BJP to power so that the party could put Haryana on a higher growth trajectory.
