New Delhi, Oct 10: After the recent hospitalisation of Indrani Mukerjea, the circumstances under which she fell unconscious on last Friday are yet not known.
After Indrani's hospitalisation, conflicting reports had emerged on suspected drug overdose in prison. While one report showed she had overdosed on anti-depressant pills, the other found no such thing.
According to an India Today report, "While one report by Hinduja Hospital said that traces of cocaine were found in her urine sample, the other said there were no traces of any toxic substance. However, the report by Hinduja Hospital also said that it is an unsubstantiated report and further tests need to be done to confirm the same."
Indrani and two other accused were arrested in August-end on the charge of murdering her daughter and disposing of the body in a forest in Raigad district, about 84 km from here, in April 2012. All the accused has been remanded to judicial custody till October 19.
Bora case is presently being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Maharashtra government had said that the probe by IG (Prisons) into suspected drug overdose by former media executive Indrani Mukerjea, accused of killing her daughter Sheena Bora, will be completed in a week's time and a case would be filed if criminality is found.
