Bhopal, Nov 22: Former Madhya Pradesh Governor, Ram Naresh Yadav on Tuesday morning died in Lucknow after suffering from prolonged illness. He was 90 years old.
After learning the death of Ram Naresh Yadav, friends in politics have been paying rich tribute. Ram Naresh Yadav's body will be taken to his native town Azamgarh for conducting the last rites.
Ram Naresh Yadav was also the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh in 1977, when Janata Dal formed government in Uttar Pradesh.
In September 2011, he was appointed as Madhya Pradesh Governor by the then UPA government.
His name was also mentioned in the infamous Vyapam scam during Shivraj Singh Chouhan government. Yadav was granted immunity by courts from prosecution for his alleged role in the scam till he held the office of Governor in Madhya Pradesh.
