Another shocker for BJP: Minor raped inside party office in Kolkata

Kolkata, Feb 14: This may add to BJP's cup of woes after the worst nightmare in Delhi election where it was routed by fledgling Aam Aadmi Party. The Saffron party which is trying to gain ground in Mamata Banerjee's West Bengal may find it tough to come to term with it.

Reportedly, a minor girl was raped inside BJP party office in Behala area of the city.

According to police official, a 17-year-old youth was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl. The incident happened between 3 PM and 4 PM in a small room of the party office, a senior police official of South West division of the Kolkata Police under which Behala falls.

The youth was arrested on the basis of a police complaint made by the parents of the girl.

Both the accused and the victim used to stay in the upper floor of the building that houses the party office, the official said.

After the shocking incident came to fore, parties stepped up the ante on the Saffron party.The Trinamool MP Derek O'Brien has termed the incident as "Terrible".Meanwhile BJP has condemn the incident and said that the guilty must be punished.
