Earthquake hits Nepal, India again: How people are reacting on Twitter
New Delhi, May 12: Two fresh strong tremors were felt in Delhi and across North and North-East India on Tuesday, May 12. It has been reported that two earthquakes with 7.4 and 6.9 magnitude in Nepal and Afghanistan respectively jolted the region around 12:40 pm.
The epicentre of the first earthquake was said to be in Kodari, Nepal. USGS upgraded the magnitude of the earthquake to 7.4 on the Richter scale. Houses collapsed in Nepal.
Four people were killed in Nepal and one in Bihar. People came out of their houses, offices as the strong tremors rocked the region from Afghanistan to Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, people started tweeting about their personal experiences on micro-blogging site Twitter. #EarthquakeAgain has been trending on Twitter.
