Bengaluru, May 21: The Central Bureau of Investigation is verifying a couple of calls that IAS officer got a day before he allegedly committed suicide. He appeared distressed after he got the calls, CBI officials have learnt.
The CBI however prima facie feels that the reason for the alleged suicide could be more than personal. While the state of Karnataka tried to paint a picture that he committed suicide due to personal reasons, the CBI has cast doubts on the same and says that there is more to it.
