The delegation of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders handed over a written complaint to Yadav against 118 MLAs under articles 191(1) and 192 of the Constitution and the Representation of the People Act 1951.
"Two MP ministers Paras Jain and Deepak Joshi hold the office of profit by virtue of being the office bearers of Indian Scout and Guide," he said.
"118 MLAs of MP state Legislative Assembly are holding the offices of profit and according to the provisions of Representation of People's Act, they should be disqualified from the House," state AAP convenor Alok Agrawal said.
He said if these members holding the offices of profit are disqualified, the BJP government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be reduced to minority, hence the Chief Minister should resign.
The delegation that met Governor included Agrawal, Hunka, and state AAP spokespersons Neha Bagga, Dr D Jain and Amit Bhatnagar.
