Disappointed Shiv Sena leader embraces Islam
Muzaffarnagar, Apr 20: A disappointed Shiv Sena leader in Uttar Pradesh has embraced Islam recently, media reported.
According to report, Shiv Sena leader Sushil Kumar Jain has converted to Islam on February 15 by his own choice. His conversion to Islam created buzz in Khatauli town, Muzaffarnagar district.
However his conversion came to light on April 19 only.
Jain, who denied any pressure responsible for his converstion, will now be known as Mohammad Abdul Samad.
Shiv Sena also known as Sena was founded by political cartoonist late Bal Thackeray is based on pro-Marathi ideology and Hindu nationalism. Members of Shiv Sena are referred as Shiv Sainiks.
Shiv Sena, a BJP ally, recently attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the "smouldering unrest" in different parts of India which, it warned, could turn into a "raging inferno".
