Delhi University: ABVP to meet Delhi Lieutenant governor
Protests in the Delhi University seems to be taking different forms with student unions like the ABVP and NSUI opting to address the issue differently than extending protests. An ABVP delegation of 5 members is all set to meet Delhi's Lieutenant governor to demand action. Accusing the Delhi police of inaction, ABVP will meet the governor and put forth three demands.
Action against those who indulged in anti-national sloganeering, charge sheet against the accused in Jawaharlal Nehru University sedition case as well as the arrest of those who threatened Gurmehar Kaur features in the ABVP's demand to the lieutenant governor.
Meanwhile, NSUI students distributed chocolates and roses to those in Delhi university in an attempt to draw the curtains of unrest and violence in the campus.
