New Delhi, Dec 2: Buoyed by recent poll victory in two States Maharashtra and Haryana, BJP is all set for Assembly election in Delhi. The party seems doesn't want to leave any single stone unturned this time as they fell short of four seat in 70 membered Assembly last time.
After making ground level poll strategy, party now is zeroing on candidates list for coming poll. Report says that veteran leader LK Advani's daughter Pratibha may be fielded from Greater Kailash constituency.
The BJP apparently is contemplating her name after party got hint that opponent Congress will most likely field President's Pranab Mukherjee's daughter Sharmishtha from the prestigious seat.
Apart from being daughter of veteran politician Advani, Pratibha has been a television anchor. Even on political pitch she is not at all novice. In past, she managed election campaigning of his father.
In addition to managing 1991 Lok Sabha election campaign for her father, she also looked after Advani's poll campaign in Gujarat. Advani has been MP from Gandhinagar seat.
"If Congress announces Ms Mukherjee as its candidate from Greater Kasilash, the BJP will field Ms Advani against her," a source close to the saffron brigade told the Deccan Herald.
Greater Kailash constituency is considered as pocket borough of the BJP. Party leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra has held this parliamentary seat since long. Though BJP is zeroing on Pratibha's name but other candidates like Ajay Malhotra(son of V K Malhotra) and party's former national secretary, Ms Arti Mehra are also lobbying for coveted seat.
